HELP PLS–Trying to post to Home Page

Hi…I just started a blog called faithfuldoodles that I’m editing to be more like a web site. Originally I had the theme “Rounded” and was able to easily creat pages (ie: home page, about me page, etc). I decided to change themes. When I did that, the theme I chose, Freshy, has a page called Home that I can’t edit or do anything with. It’s totally blank. I thought if I posted, something would appear there, but it doesn’t. This Home page also doesn’t appear in my “Manage Pages.” I was reading in old forums that this is apart of the template that can’t be changed. That’s fine, but how do I post something on that page called Home so it’s not just blank!? Hopefully that makes sense!!

Home is not a page but a link back to the front page of your blog.

my blog is faithfuldoodles.wordpress.com. Thanks Dr. Mike…If “Home” is not a page, will it always remain blank? I’d like write a “welcome” and post a pic. Is that possible?

Hi again Dr. Mike! I tried to post last night, thinking it would show up there, but it didn’t. I just tried it again just in case and it still didn’t show up. Arugh! I went to “Write-Post” and then when I was done I clicked on “Publish.” I don’t see it. Help! =)

Please open up the post again for editing and make sure that teh Post Status isn’t set to private by mistake.

Me again! I checked the Post Status on the Edit page and it says “Publish.” Any other thoughts? I truly appreciate your help!!

That’s weird. I was going to tell you to clear your cache, etc., but i can’t see any posts on your site either. You may need to send a feedback to support.

Agreed. Someone needs to take a look at the backend on this one and we can’t do that for you here.

hi. facing same problem. i dont we can edit this out unless we upgrade and do it on css.
