Help pointing site elsewhere

  I purchased the Business Plan last year directly through WordPress.com and am now trying to point my site elsewhere. I transferred the domain from WordPress.com to GoDaddy and would like my site to redirect and be live on WPEngine.

  On WordPress.com, there is no option under my domain management to update my name server like all of the articles I keep reading say to do, nor can I update the CNAME because WordPress is auto-filling part of the box with my domain and it’s autofilling it in the wrong spot according to WP Engine. I need the CNAME to read coppercacti.wpengine.com and it’s wanting me to input copperandcacti.copperandcacti.com . GoDaddy tells me that my name server with them is still wordpress even though I transferred the domain. I submitted a support ticket to WordPress but have been trying to get this done for nearly a week and I got an auto-response telling me it could take 3 days to get a reply. Can anyone help? I just want my site to work elsewhere as I’ve already got everything migrated to WPEngine and ready to go but WordPress is blocking me every step of the way it seems. Help?
