Help! (posting)
-
In the past, when I added new posts to my blog, a toolbar was at the top of the screen, displaying options like italics, create link, remove link and so on. Now that bar doesn’t seem to be there any more. Where has it gone? Can I get it back?

You might have turned it off without realising it, which is common. Go to Dashboard > Users > Your Profile and make sure the use the visual rich editor when writing box is checked. If it’s not, check it and you should be fine.

Thanks, I checked it and it’s ticked. Is there any other reason why the toolbar might not be visible?

There are a few other reasons. First thing is what browser are you using? Sometimes Safari can cause problems. You might also want to log out and clear your browser cache and cookies and log back in again. Sometimes that helps.

This FAQ lists the more common problems which can cause it. If it’s not one of those, you might need to contact staff and see if they can help. -
Thanks for showing me that. I pressed Ctrl+F5 and it froze up my computer for a bit, so after five minutes or so I clicked refresh and the toolbar had appeared.
Thank you very much!
