HELP: Problem with code for PayPal Donation
-
A couple of weeks ago, I updated my blog site, with a new theme. It’s called Collinear. One of my goals is to add a “Tip Jar”. You can see it, in the sidebar, on the bottom.
I followed the instruction for creating a PayPal Donation button and placed the following code in a text widget called “Tip Jar”:
<a href="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_donations&business=barry%2ebrindisi%40gmail%2ecom&lc=US¤cy_code=USD&bn=PP%2dDonationsBF%3abtn_donateCC_LG%2egif%3aNonHosted/" /> <img alt="Small Donate Button" src="https://www.paypal.com/en_US/i/btn/btn_donate_SM.gif" />On the surface, everything worked fine and I did test the Donation button. Here’s the problem. A couple of days later, I get a message in my spam filter. The guy was telling me that I had an overlap.
Originally, I had a couple of widgets located below the “Tip Jar”. I checked my site and I saw a very strange sight. My StatsCounter widget was being turned into a hyperlink to my PayPal donation.
I moved the StatsCounter widget; so it’s above the “Tip Jar”. I checked my site and it was the Archive widget’s turn. The problem is clearly with the Tip Jar widget.
Could someone please look at the code and tell me, “What did I do wrong?” Thanks!
