Greetings. I’m new to WordPress and I have a question: Is there a way for me to protect my WordPress page with a password? I’ll be working with my students, and I worry about their safety and the privacy of the course. Thank you in advance!

Yes you can make your blog private and available to only those you choose to provide access to it.

To change blog visibility to Private go to Dashboard > Settings > Reading scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 3 .See also:
