Help re domain

    I’m thinking of registering a domain, which wordpress tells me is available. This would change my blog name to .com. Can anyone tell me whether people would still be able to find me using my .wordpress.com address. Also I am add free and it comes up telling me if I register a domain my ‘add free’ subscription would not be active. Any help in these two areas appreciated.

    Yes

    I would think the no ads would be able to be transferred or should transfer automatically – since a mapped domain is still the base blog just with a different name – but ask the staff for the final word.
