  Please help recover access to site: http://www.cherylsterlingbooks.com. In changing from Firefox to Chrome, I’ve lost my passwords.
  Attempts at sending a password recovery email to the email used for the site results in no emails (or spam).
  Attempts to sign on through wordpress.com results in a message that the site is not registered at wordpress.com, although wordpress.com sent the original account information and “please moderate” emails.
  Please advise. Thank you.

  Hi @wiseprez010218, this is a self-hosted copy of WordPress through totalchoicehosting.com. It’s quite different from a site that is on our servers.

  And since your site is not here on our servers, we don’t have access to help you regain access. But I may be able to point you in the right direction.

  First contact your host to be sure you have backups and can access the hosting side of your site, then read all of these these instructions from WordPress.org to determine which method you want to use to regain access to your installation:

  As long as you can log into your host, you should be able to regain access. If you need more help, head to to the forums for self-hosted sites at https://wordpress.org/support
