Help recovering account and/or blog

  I used to be an admin on vanishpt.wordpress.com, and I was trying to log in, but apparently one of the accounts I used doesn’t exist on wordpress.com anymore? I’ve read the instructions over at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/, but I don’t have an activation key or one of the other proofs (did they even send those back in 09?). However, I do have proof that I owned it, as I still have emails about confirmations and moderating comments.

  It seems the user “vanishpt” also doesn’t exist, and I don’t remember which username was used for the blog itself, so perhaps someone could inform me the original username at least? (I assume the email can’t be revealed) And/or let me create an account with the same old email and get access to the blog again?

  Hi, since you do have email notifications about the site – have you tried logging in using that email address?
  You can reset the password from https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

  I have, yes. I get an “user does not exist” error, so I can’t even reset the password or anything.

  It is correct that vanishpt is not an account here.

  Have you tried an email address instead?

  Yes, the same email that gives the “user does not exist” error.
