Help recovering an old blog
-
Hello! I had a blog that I last posted from in 2015. I cannot access it at all, and I’m hoping that it’s still here somewhere, as the alternative would be devastating for me. I was busy starting a family, and am ready to pick it up again, but it appears to be gone. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Voltee.wordpress.com. I finally found that! I can’t log into it though. I also used to have it tied to the domain iamwhatiwore.com, which I still own.
-
I’m wondering if it’s connected to an email I no longer use? I can’t think of what that would be, though.

Hi there,
If you still have access to the email connected to the account that owns that site, you can enter that email address in the password recovery form:
https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
If that doesn’t work, in order to regain access to a WordPress.com account, we’ll need a transaction ID for any upgrades purchased for the account
https://en.support.wordpress.com/transaction-id/
For more information please read our Account Recovery guide:

Hello,
Thanks for the info! The password reset is not working, so I think that it must be tied to an email that no longer works. Is there a way that I can see what the email tied to the account is?
I did not purchase upgrades for this blog. I do have emails from my correct email address from WordPress from 2015 to reinstate the domain name I had purchased. And I do still own the domain name. Would that be enough proof to get my password? -

It would be a violation of privacy for us to share that information. What you can do is send an email to
passwordhelp@wordpress.com. -
I’ve replied to the email ticket you submitted, so I’m closing this thread as a duplicate.
