Help Recovering from a Botched Change Blog Address
-
Hi folks! I was trying to change my mrman187.wordpress.com blog to another address that I already owned (pghe.wordpress.com). Since I already owned pghe, I was not able to change the name using the “Change Blog Address” function on the dashboard. I tried to delete the pghe blog and try the change again. This gave me an error saying the site name was already in use, so I tried one more time with the “permanently disable” checked. This still did not work and had the unfortunate side-effect not allowing me to use that address anymore.
I’ve read through the support documents and saw WordPress’ stance on not bringing back deleted blog addresses (http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/), however in this case, since I owned the deleted site, is it sill possible to recover the address?
Any help would be appreciated!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

pghe.wordpress.com is no longer available.
The authors have deleted this site.Hello there,
The deleted blog URL will not become available again. I’m sorry but you cannot recover or register any deleted blog URL. Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
