Help! Redirecting a wordpress.com to wordpress.org w/o losing theme
-
I mapped my wordpress.com blog (misforamazing.wordpress.com) to the domain that I purchased (misforamazing.com). When the DNS servers sorted themselves out, the custom theme that I had for my self-hosted blog had been overwritten and was back to the Adelle theme on my wordpress.com blog.
How can I avoid this or is it impossible?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It is a misunderstanding. IF you mapped an exterior domain to your WP.com blog, what is shown is the WP.com blog. Not the external blog.

Sure, that’s easy. You just buy the Redirect Upgrade from the dashboard Store page of the WP.com blog.

When I tried that, it wouldn’t let me do the site redirect because I had purchased the domain mapping. I’ve removed that though, and it seems like it’ll let me purchase that upgrade.
thank you.
