Help regarding above domain

I used to have http://www.sagakitchensandbedrooms.co.uk domain and it was developed by third party (Stapledigital.co.uk). Staple Digital have gone out of business and they had all my login details and passwords as well as domain name login details. I had paid them but never received the details before they closed down. Could you please help me with this as the last time they had supplied the login details for WordPress was in 2018. I am not able to access the account to see if I can reconnect to my domain again.

To avoid confusion, there are three different “WordPress” at play here:
- The free, open-source WordPress software which powers your website.
- WordPress.org which is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
- WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software and with whom you’re contacting now.
Since your site is not hosted with us, we’re limited in what we can help with and advise since we don’t have access to your site. But I can get you pointed in the right direction to get help.
Unfortunately, the only organization that would have that information is Staple Digital. I used https://www.nominet.uk/lookup/ to look up your domain information and it appears to be registered with “Media Elite Holdings Limited, S.A. (ID: REGISTERMATRIXCH)” using the domain nameservers “ns1.redfoxdns.com” and “ns2.redfoxdns.com” as of August 2022. I’m not familiar with either organization, so I’m not sure if you have any legal recourse from your prior contract with Staple Digital. You may want to consult with legal counsel to see if you have any steps you can take to recover the domain/site.
