Help removing an area of my theme.

    Hello, I am using Beat Mix Lite theme for my website at https://japanmusicrevolution.com/wp/

    I have two questions/issues thatI cannot seem to solve. This is my first time using wordpress/css, I have stricly used HTML until now.

    #1 I am wanting to remove the entire two two rows that include the “Japan Music Revolution” on the top left as well as the login/logout button on the top right and the two empty “cells” in the middle. I was successfully able to remove it through inspect element on Firefox by going to inspect element and removing div#kopa-header-top

    When I delete that in inspect element in the entire 2 first rows are gone which is what I want. However I thought I had found the page in WordPress to delete the attribute and it completely messed up my site instead. I am not sure to find exactly which page I have to remove this value from and if that is all I have to remove? I tried “copy path” and it gave me this:

    html.js.no-touch.borderradius.boxshadow.cssanimations.csstransforms.csstransforms3d.csstransitions body.home.page-template-default.page.page-id-35.logged-in.kopa-sub-page.kopa-single-page.kopa-subpage div#kopa-page-header div#kopa-header-top

    Any help would be appreciated. Furthermore, once the two top rows are gone I would like to make the middle area with the image of a crow slightly smaller in height….how do I find the page to do that as well? Overall I’m having a really hard time finding WHERE to edit code as I want it to reflect on all pages and I can’t really seem to find a “main” page to edit. There is an “index” page but it has only a couple of lines of code. My main page is not my posts page, this is a website and I am not using the blog feature currently. Any help would be so appreciated- thank you.

    I have no idea how to edit my main post but that should say “two TOP rows” and “image of a CROWD” not crow. Sorry about that.

    Hi @xthepaperdoll, I see only one WordPress.com site associated with your username, and we do not have a Beat Mix theme here at WordPress.com, and the site you are referencing is not hosted here at WordPress.com.

    There is a dedicated Beat Mix support forum at WordPress.org where you can post your questions on self-hosted sites using that theme.

    The differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org.

    I did try and take a quick look at your site to see if I could get you going on your request, but your site is returning errors that is preventing it from loading. I would suggest posting at http://wordpress.org/support/ to first get those errors fixed and then post in the theme support forum I mentioned above.
