Help removing grey sides

  Hello
  I was just wondering if someone could help me please. Ive just purchased the CSS editor & ive changed my blog layout. The only problem im having is i cant change the colour of the grey margins that run down the sides on my blog. Ive looked on this forum but cant seem to find anything about it. Someone mentioned something about inline style so i went to source & edited the html bit, took the body style bit out & i still get the grey sides. Im very new to this as well lol.

  Where do i add this in the css bit? Thats the bit im stuck with, i saw this posted somewhere else but it didnt say where abouts its supposed to go lol

  If you have been just including your changes in the CSS edit window and have the “add this to…” radio button clicked, then just add it to that window.

  If you have the entire CSS in the edit window with the “Start from scratch and just use this” selected, then find “element.style” in the CSS in that window, and change “background-image” to none.

  Ok lol i added it to the bottom of my code. I have the add this button clicked.
  Its not done anything :( didnt change anything.
  Would it be easier if i just used a different template lol

  It worked for me when I did it in my test blog. Did you save the changes? Also, did you clear your browser cache and reload your main page?

  Yeh i did that & i still get the grey sides. Oh well never mind lol

  I did it after your last post using Firebug right on your site, and the grey bars went away when I changed “background-image” to none. I’m confused as to why it did not work for you.

  Yeh i dont have firefox or firebug, just IE, i couldnt even tell you which one i have lol.
  Ill download firefox today & then try again

  I downloaded firefox & firebug, wow that was easy lol its all fixed theyve gone but when i switch back to IE they come back. Thats a bit of a pain lol
