help responded to help response
-
I asked support a question. I received a response via email that was embedded in a survey asked me to rate support. I did not receive a separate email. The email I got says DO NOT REPPLY. I dont see anything inside the WordPress website that lets me see this message and respond. AND I dont understand the response. Actually the response doesn’t make sense. How can I find the response and respond to it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Follow up: This is the question I asked: My website has a contact page which sends an email to the owner of the website. I am trying to change the email address so it to the correct email address. When I go to account settings and change the email address and click on save it says that the new email address is already being used ( It isn’t the form still sends an email to the wrong address. When I search word press for how to do this it says go to Block settings and look for email Feedback Settings. “Under Email Feedback settings, you can change the email address the form gets sent to, as well as the subject line of the email.” But I don’t find the anything anywhere under block or add a block or forms that says email settings. And this is the response: I noticed you’re using the shortcode block to generate that form. I might suggest we switch that and use the contact form block instead
I am using the contact form that came with this theme . I did not code anything or change anything. I set it up with one email address. Now I need to change the email addresss -
Hi there,
That was not an email support ticket. That email you received is a transcript of the live chat session where we tried to help you, but which you left without ever replying to the support agent who tried to help you.
To change the email address the contact form is sending to, edit the page containing the form.
Delete the shortcode block that you see there, and create a new form on the page using the form block:
When setting up that new form, you’ll have the option to specify the email address that form responses are sent to.
When I go to account settings and change the email address and click on save it says that the new email address is already being used
Changing the email address there doesn’t change it for any forms on any sites you own. It changes the email address connected to your WordPress.com account itself.
That message means the email is already being used for another WordPress.com account, and has nothing to do with where form responses are being sent to.

I created a new form using the form block as you suggested but it added the form to every page on the website. There is a contact page. This was part of the existing theme that I chose, I didn’t create it. I only want the form to appear on contact page . I removed it from all the other pages and I am back to what came with the theme. But when I try to add the form block back to this one page, I don’t see anything that lets me specify that I just want it on this one page

Adding a form block to one page should not add it to any other pages on your site. Any changes you make to a particular page in the editor can only affect that specific page.
Can you please add the form using the form block again, and then let me know so I can take a look what’s going on? It’s impossible to diagnose a problem I cannot see.

I add the form block back to the contact page and now it is working. The form is only visible on this one page, which is what I wanted. I don’t understand what happened but it is working now. Sorry to bother you. Thanks for your help
