Help restoring lost widgets!
-
I was trying a different theme but didn’t realize it would permanently change all of my settings! I didn’t like the look, so I went back to my old settings (until I can do more exploring) and found that all of my widgets, which took me forever to figure out, are missing!
Any way that I can restore my blog to how it was 15 minutes ago?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
If you head to Appearance > Widget in WP Admin, you’ll be able to see your ‘Inactive Widgets’ when scrolling down the left side:
https://forestedgebooks.wordpress.com/wp-admin/widgets.php
You can restore back to your site by clicking and dragging them to the desired area in the top-right of that page.
To help you remember which widgets were where, you can view a snapshot of your site from March on web.archive.org:

As an extra note, I can appreciate that the process of restoring your settings after switching themes could be made simpler. This is something that’s on our mind as a team and that we hope to improve on in the future.
Please don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any extra questions, or if there’s anything else I can be of help with.
