help restoring WP website from exported file

  Please, I need help importing wordpress backup. The import feature imported the file however the style on the imported website does not look the same

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  What sort of back up is it?

  If it is a WordPress export file, then it should not override your theme. You can only import posts, pages, comments, custom fields, categories, and tags from a WordPress export file.

  The person we paid to make our website hijacked our login to edit the website and only provided us with the export back up zip file. If things dont go well with this person in the fall out, I want to be able to restore the website. Do I have any options?
