Help retrieving username and password

Hello,
A former marketing director at my work created this blog June 2009. I do not know the username, password or email address associated with the blog. As such, there is a hickup in deleting it.

In order to help you get access to your blog Staff need one of the following things in order to correctly identify you as the blog owner:
1. an email from the email address associated with the account or revealing what that associated email address was
2. the wordpress.com API key for your account. This was included in your welcome email with a note to keep it safe. Please do not post the API key here.
3. if you have purchased any upgrades for the blog a transaction numberHopefully, you will be able to provide one of those to Staff when they enter this thread, which I have flagged for their attaention.

I’m sorry I din’t read more carefully. The owner of the blog is the person who registered the username account that registered the blog. That person is the only person that can transfer the blog to another username account or delete it. You can’t do either because you aren’t the blog’s owner.
