HELP Sela theme – testimonials

  Hello!

  I am having some trouble with the testimonials arrangement on the Sela theme.
  I can’t seem to be able to:
  1) leave the title name on the static front page (which is the name of the client)
  2) put the testimonial archive in the menu

  Could you help me?

  Hi,

  1) leave the title name on the static front page (which is the name of the client)

  On the Sela theme, the title of a testimonial will display by default in the testimonials section of a page with the Front Page template assigned. I see that the testimonial title isn’t displayed on your front page, but I also note that the title of the front page itself is hidden. My guess would be that the CSS code that hid the page title has also hidden the testimonial title. The code suggested in your related topic static front page – sela theme may be the culprit.

  The remedy would be a different code that hides one but not the other. I’ll call for staff attention. Alternatively, you may notify staff of the issue in the earlier thread or submit a separate request to the CSS Customization support forum.

  2) put the testimonial archive in the menu

  This can only be done with a custom menu. So if you’re presently displaying the default pages menu, then it would have to be replaced by a custom menu. See the Custom Menus support page.

  A link to the testimonials archives page may be added to a custom menu in the Primary location by choosing the option “All Testimonials” in the Add Items module at Customize > Menus > Primary. The default navigation label “All Testimonials” may be changed.
