Help Setting Account To Private – Moderators, Please!

  While google searching myself to do some digital cleanup, I found my old wordpress blog. I cannot verify it is mine, so I cannot delete it, but the help article said:

  “If it isn’t possible to verify your identity to recover your account, access to the account cannot be granted.

  The following options are available in this circumstance:

  • If there is personal information on your website, you may request that we set it to private so that search engines and the public can’t access it. “

  I understand I can no longer verify ownership of this account. However, there is personal information on there. It would mean the world to me if you set the account to private. I do not want this on the internet. I don’t have access to the email address anymore. I also don’t have a transaction ID or activation URL or key or two factor authentication codes.

  WordPress doesn’t have an email address, and the chatbot said that the only way to contact staff is to post a request on the forum. So this is my request post.

  Please, setting this to private would give me great peace of mind. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
