Help setting up and active on the site.

  Hi,
  I would like to build a site at wordpress.com. I have a site and domain already up and using it now. When I have the site built I would like to take down the other site and use the website that I built here using my current domain name. I need to move that domain to wordpress.com I think. Not sure how to do this.

  Hi there,

  When you’ve built your new site and you’re ready for it to go live, you have two options.

  The first option is to leave your domain registered wherever it is currently while still being able to use it at WordPress.com. If you’d like to do that, follow this guide:

  If you’d like to transfer your domain registration from the current registrar to WordPress.com instead, follow the steps found here:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/

  Once you’ve mapped or transferred your domain, you’ll need to make it the primary domain for your site as described here:
