HELP: Site down after upgrade to 2.8!
-
Hi,
I run a site called http://runwayrevolution.com hosted on GoDaddy with a Thesis theme. I created an autoupgrade for WordPress via GoDaddy (prob the first error) and when I came back to my site it was gone with a plugin error message. Now, I do have a fresh backup so all is not lost, but for some reason I can’t find my way into my dashboard for the site. I *ahem* have several incarnations and emails attached to WordPress, and none of them get me into the right dashboard to disable plugins and begin my rebuild. HELP!!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I think what I really need is an URL login for WordPress that is for runwayrevolution.com, not wordpress.runwayrevolution.com. The WordPress version is not what I need to access. Thanks again.

You really need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG, your problem is common.
Your site is not hosted on WordPress.COM, this site is for support of sites hosted on WordPress.COM. You should address your questions to WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using: http://wordpress.org/support/

Sorry, you need to head over to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ as that is where self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG are supported.
These forums are for those hosted here on the wordpress.COM free hosting service and things here work differently.
If you are not familiar with the differences, see this support document: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ .
