Help SlideShows suddenly not working

  My Page based Site is set up with many pages, populated with Donor’s Photos and Text. All Photos uploaded individually (No Gallery) and with [slideshow] set up at the bottom of each Page.
  All working ok since Site Set-up but suddenly all stopped working a few hours ago – all that can be seen is the Black Box at bottom of each Page.

  Can you Fix Please A.S.A.P. and Advise – Thank You

  Today – for some reason – Slideshow “Works” if I toggle IE8 CompatibilityView “Off”
