  • Hi there,

Where on your front page would you like your custom link to show up?

One solution would be to add your custom link to your current menu. I noticed that you’ve created a new menu named English and added your English-site custom link to it. The issue with that is you can only use one menu as your Primary menu. By adding the custom link to the menu you’ve set as your primary menu, you’ll be able to combine them into one menu.

I noticed that you’ve created a few menus, so it would be a good idea to set which menu you want to display as your Primary Menu in Menus >> Manage Locations. You can learn how to do that in advanced menu settings here:

    Hello lindamork,
Thanks for your help. I erased all menus beside the english one. It’s the only one of importance now. Later i will add the social menu but first i want to straighten this out because it’s confusing. So i have the english menu as my primary now ( i think) and i was wondering if i can put the word “english” somewhere around the top right hand corner. Maybe the header next to 1944 if it’s possible. I mean anywhere where it’s visible and people can see and understand clearly there is a site in english( well there’s going to be but it’s not finished yet! ) for them. I hope this makes sense. Thanks again

  • Hey there,

You’re making sense. :-) But, have you considered how people will find their way around your website? I know you’ve got the Home page ‘cubes’ linked to pages of your site, but once a users goes to a page, how do they navigate elsewhere on your site?

I’d suggest you create a menu that includes your website pages and the custom link to your English site. Then your site visitors can navigate around your website from any page and go to the English site as well.

The Cubic theme you’re using gives you the option to add a short description to your navigation menu items which might be helpful to you. Here’s the link to the Cubic theme documentation with that info:

    Hello Lindamork,
I totally understand what you mean. Where my menu
Is on the right make a menu with the pages I have on my
front page.. Also including the link that goes to my English
site. Little by little I’m getting the hang of this. Thanks
for your help ! Have a great new year!Sent from my iPhone

  • Hello!

    Cheers
