Threat of rape or harm from some crazy man commenting on my blog..he’s stopped commenting but still stalking, LinkedIn, Facebook, had posted on a friends blog to how he’s going to find me to teach me a lesson. He has a blog and another user name. Please help!

If you truly fear that this person will come to your home and harm you why are you posting here? Don’t waste any time. Call the police and get ready to hire a lawyer.

I’m out of the country..I have contacted the police both here and home..as well as the American consulate. Will hiding change what this person has done? No. He knows my name, he has searched my husband down too. I have filled out those forms. Over a week ago. No response back and no private chat form of customer service for word press..so I did this.

I’d gladly take this down..I’m extremely angry that I have not gotten any private feedback from WordPress on this. I would like to delete this thread if possible. I’m not trying to make things worse. I’m trying to have some resolution to being in danger.

You by the way are rude..of course he can’t “come through a computer” however, he named the town I’m in, said it’s small, named me, restaurants to find me in, did research about me. These were not just basic harrasments like calling me a jerk. They were specific enough that a police officer is stationed at my corner after I showed the police what he wrote. I don’t know if he’s a pimply kid sitting in his mothers basement in Cleveland or if he’s a valid protagonist. Do not belittle my concerns. I believe in free speech but not seemilingly legitimate and credible threats of harm.
