Help starting out

  I am starting a blog and i know nothing of wordpress or FTP clients so any help would be very much appreciated…

  For a start, how do i connect this blog to my URL? http://www.alex-mcintosh.com, i want to change my blog link to follow here, also how do i put my theme onto wordpress? :S

  Nope all that did was tell me about the difference of .com and.org

  Right ill try and explain better…

  I have my theme and wordpress uploaded onto my hosting account. So all the files are on my hosting account.

  BUT! when i go on its URL (http://www.alex-mcintosh.com/blog) i get an error message…. NOW, is that because i haven’t set up a database that should be, if so how do i do it?

  Also, i want people to go to the address above and not (http://www.blogwurld.wordpress.com) how do i make that possible?

  you need WordPress.ORG -> http://wordpress.org/support/

  WordPress.com or WordPress.org ? The difference.
