Help stop Twitter auto-sharing
-
I am going insane trying to work this out. I’ve looked inside and out and top to bottom of Sharing Settings but made zero progress.
I’ve searched forums and found endless posts on sharing posts to Twitter but nothing to stop the automated publishing of new posts via wordpress.com. So I look in wordpress.com for settings (that makes sense as WordPress.com is sharing it), but it just takes me to the settings page on my site that I’ve gone through in the finest detail over and over again.
Everything in the “Sharing Settings” page appears 100% correct according to all the advice I’ve read, until I look at my Twitter feed and find published posts that I didn’t want shared. Search engine indexing is marked in “Reading Settings” as discouraged.
I dare not publish anything until this is resolved. Thank you.
