Hi there,
WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.
Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.
Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades
See here:
Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades

Thank you for the quick response. It’s due to expire on December 12, 2015.
There was an issue with my username last year and WP suggested I create a new user profile whilst they resolved the issue (which they did) and with that profile (called: ciaomarco2015) I purchased domain mapping.
I have since deleted that profile and I am guessing this is why I cannot turn off the auto renew.

You are correct, the issue is that you purchased the upgrade with your second account.
The account is still active. You’ll need to log into it in order to cancel the auto-renewal.
