Help to make acct private or delete without proof of ownership

Hi there,
I have an old wordpress.com site that I can no longer gain access to. I would like to have it deleted, but making it private would be ok as well. I believe I know the email address that is associated with the account, but am not getting a recovery email. Unfortunately I don’t have proof of ownership and cannot log in.
The website is: https://lyneinhoff.wordpress.com/
The email I believe is linked is: (email visible only to moderators and staff) – (it is even published on the website itself)

Hey there,
That was me :) So, the email you provided isn’t the email associated with the account. I would first try to enter any emails that you own into the password reset field and see if any of them receives an email regarding https://lyneinhoff.wordpress.com/.
