Help tracking down huge spike in views
-

Is there any way to find out WHO is promoting my blog? I’d like to offer to have their baby…or at least say thanks. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks Timethief – you’re always so quick on the response! That stat would be because my latest post was a version of a humor column that I wrote that first ran in the newspaper. Interesting resource – I never knew about copyscape.
No, I don’t think anybody copied my material; somebody on Facebook (with a lot of friends, apparently,) posted a link to a specific old post on my blog, and I want to know who it was. Very mysterious.

Hi again,
WordPress.com can’t supply that information re: the Facebook shares made on the Facebook site. However, there are tools you can use to track social network shares. here are two easy to use free ones. Google alerts https://www.google.com/alerts allows you to an email for the keywords for online mentions as frequently as you want. You can try social mention too http://www.socialmention.com/
