HELP! Transferring a domain from a portfolio site to wordpress.

    Hello there!

    So I’m a little unsure about how to best go about this: I currently have a portfolio website hosted by Portfoliobox (like squarespace) with my own domain as my first and last name at .com. I would really love to keep this domain for my wordpress site.

    So should I

    1) Delete my account with Portfoliobox after saving all my information/work. Will this then free the domain for use?

    2) Contact Portfoliobox asking them to change the server name? I also don’t want to be paying for both wordpress and portfoliobox so this is my concern with this option.

    Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
