Help transferring stats from 2 blogs
-
Hi!
Little complexe situation here. All blogs have jetpack as I still see them when I log in.I created Blog 1 (matetecettedroledeplace.wordpress.com) a few years ago. Still active.
Then I created Blog 2 (Leadership “décompliqué” – yannickdion.com) 18 months ago. I had to change web host and I lost all data from my site BUT I managed to backup my posts.
I had to start a Blog 3 (yannickdion.com – wih iPage) from scratch with the same domain than blog 2. I decided to import all my posts from Blog 1 and the back up from Blog 2 so I can merge all the posts into only one blog (Blog 3).
So I would like it if you could help me and merge all the stats from blogs 1 and 2 to blog 3. I can’t access Blog 2 any longer from jetpack but I can still see that the stats are still there.
Hope this is clear for you :).
Can you help?
A big thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
It seems that you need help from a staff to deal with this situation. I’m adding a “modlook” tag to this post so that this post can gain a staff’s attention as soon as possible.
Best of luck.

Stats migration will only work perfectly if your post ID’s match between your WordPress sites. If the IDs do not match, a single post will end up as two (or perhaps 3 in your case) different posts in your stats. One will be the stats for the old ID and one the new. The stats cannot be combined unless the IDs are the same.
But given the multiple site nature of this request, it is something that cannot be undone once we merge.
Please confirm that you understand this.

Hi,
I went to check a few of the post ids (3 to 4 digit number) from Blog 1 and they are the same in Blog 3 for the same posts.
I also checked a few of the ids from the stats still available in blog 2 and they also match for the same posts in Blog 3.
So I guess we’re ok. :)
Thank you :)
