HELP – Tried to change URL to homepage, killed my site
-
Hello all. I can’t get back into the WordPress admin page at this point, so I’m afraid I can’t be very specific, but I’ll try…
I had created a new static page and deleted the sample page, expecting that this would automatically get rid of the home blog-style page, and replace it with the new one. My new page appeared as a link, but the sample page remained, as the default. I tried to find some way to change this, and didn’t, then finally tried copying the new page’s URL and pasting it into the URL fields on General Settings. Now my site is a complete mess, as you can see here:
Please help – I’m no longer able to get into the admin utility to try to reverse my changes!

That is a self-hosted WordPress.org blog, which we really can’t help with.
