Help troubleshooting

    Hello, I just created this WordPress account to edit the website that was created using a different WordPress account. I attempted to import it through the All-in-one WP migration tool but the page reloaded and took me to a white page that says ‘There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.’ However, I received no email with instructions. My website is now completely down which was never intended to happen. Please help me troubleshoot this.

  • Hi! I checked your site here on WordPress.com and it looks like the problem was coming from your theme, Enfold. Your site shows it has version 4.0.4 of Enfold. At this time your site’s using the default theme Twenty Twenty-Three so you can access and manage it.

    I looked for the information about Enfold and I found similar issues here:

    It looks like the theme creator is asking folks with older versions of Enfold to update to version 5.6.3. If you can get the updated version of the theme and install it, that should make sure that you can re-activate Enfold as your site’s theme without any further errors.
