Help turning blog into website – preview doesnt look like the premium theme

Hi I am just wondering if I could get some advice. I originally had WordPress as just a blog but after seeing the ‘Business Identity Theme’ I realised that is just what I was looking for in a website. Before I buy the theme however I wanted to preview it on my blog first to make sure it all looks ok… however when I preview the Business Identity theme it looks nothing like it is supposed to.. it is very plain and there is no sign of the beautiful home page that that theme has.
Please could anyone advise me on what to do ( i’m sure it is just me being inexperienced with websites) as this is the only thing stopping me from purchasing the theme right now.
I have just got a random theme on currently whilst I am editing wording etc. so please ignore the mess and random wordings!
