two different blogs, two different wordpress installations.

one is older, have made many posts. now, since i posted to the new one, wp won’t let me log in to the old one. it says i have the wrong user name, but i’m trying to log in the same as ever. i used the same askimet key for both. what can i do?

    thanks,

    tc

Normally your username registration is the one universal identifier in wordpress, although you can have more than one provided they are made from different email addresses. It seems the use of the same Akismet key for both may have caused this as you point out. Use the feedback button on the top right hand corner of any blog page. In your message include all pertinent information for both accounts as well as a link back to this thread and staff will take care of this. :)

Thanks very much. If I continue to have problems I will do that. For now, though, the problem has disappeared, and I suspect server issues.

    Thanks again.

Um, why am I looking at “two different wordpress installations.” and thinking the poster is hosted elsewhere?
