HELP! Unable to "manage my profile"!

    Can’t “manage my profile”! The website disappears just as soon as I attempt to correct old information that no longer applies. I have used both the “Gravatar” link and the WordPress.com link. The behavior is the same.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hey there,

    It may be a temporary bug, or a problem with the cache of your browser. When you type this address : https://wordpress.com/settings/public-profile/ what does it do ? Can you try from another browser/computer ?

    If it still doesn’t work, can you tell us what is your browser and what version it is ? ( Try https://www.whatismybrowser.com to find out )

    Hi, Francis/Bob (francisbob).
    Thank you very much for responding promptly as the behavior upset me since Microsoft declares that the latest version of IE is even safer than ever and more than its competitors! (However, I just noticed that my reinstallation is not to IE 11 but back down to v10 on Windows 8). Even so, I wish to inform you that I went to another Gravatar link and was finally able to DELETE the old information and only add a few updates satisfactorily. Therefore, the problems no longer exist. Again, many thanks!

    Happy it worked out :)

    IE sometimes have some strange behavior, I didn’t know W8 put back v10 instead of v11, that’s a little weird. Stick with the newer version, as it is a lot more compatible with the rest of the web :D

    Many thanks for your continued interest. I am so annoyed by the back-and-forth that I had to undergo to return to my “status-quo-ante” in terms of the OS. I am running Windows 8.1 again and so far, it is working as expected. I am nervous about it. Moreover, WordPress.com (using the Windows Essential app feature) has now become one of my favorite apps (as has the website itself). I have NO further problems to report so THANK YOU for demonstrating interest in my minor (but vexing) little problems. I believe I have brought my Profile up-to-date.
