HELP! unmap domain

HELP!!! I need to get my domain name unmapped! I already requested a refund for the premium theme, so when I click on “my upgrades” I cannot find any where to be able to unmap it. I already own the domain name.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I reviewed the mintandbirch WordPress.com account and I can verify that the domain mapping for mintandbirchblog.com has been canceled and refunded.

Keep in mind that mapping is only the connection that points a domain you already own to a WordPress.com blog. If you would like to make additional changes to how the mintandbirch.com domain is currently working, you may need make changes through the company where you originally purchased the domain (this depends on how your hosting is setup). If you have any additional questions about that part, please let me know a few more details about what you’re trying to achieve and I can try to help guide you.

Thank you! However, when I type in mintandbirchblog.com (the one I mapped wordpress with), it still takes me to a wordpress error page. I have reset all my settings within my dashboard on where I purchased the domain.

WordPress is still somehow connected with my domain name even though I’ve reset all my settings on the dashboard where I bought my domain.

I’m so sorry, that was a typo on my part. The mapping for mintandbirchblog.com (not mintandbirch.com) was indeed removed from the WordPress.com side.

DNS changes take time to go through. How long it takes depends on how fast the internet provider in your location updates their DNS information. For some people it can take a few hours, and for others it can take up to a few days. This is normal. After making the proper DNS changes according to your web host’s instructions, you just need to wait for them to take effect.
