help updating blog using self host

    I understand that I need to self host my wordpress site becuase I am going to do adsense and other ads. I chose to host on godaddy.com

    when you go to http://www.mothertrekker.com it is the info that I FTPd up to my host.
    My question is, where do I go to maintain the content of my blog (the writing part?) I was hoping to use my itouch to do this with the wordpress aplication or blog writer/lite.

    Where do I update the blog?
    It was my understanding that the godaddy.com is where I FTP things like changing the theme. I assume that I will have to FTP my changes when I ad the advertisements too. Or can I update/add the adsense stuff without FTPing too.

    The reason I’m confused is that http://www.mothertrekker.com and http://www.mothertrekker.wordpress.com are different.

    You will no longer be coming here for login and for help. You have to log into your new blog separately at that blog, and using the username and password for that blog.

    Go to your new blog, and in the meta widget in the left sidebar, click “login” fill in the username and password for that blog and you are on your way.

    Also, with self-hosted blogs you need to direct your questions to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ which is where self-hosted blogs are supported.
