Help upgrading please ..

  Hello, I have another post on here but can’t seem to get a response from staff. I would like to upgrade my blog/site to a domain. However the lack of contact/help is putting me off. I have 2 old test blogs that I want to delete. I have followed the protocol for deletion but the email link never arrives to complete the command (it’s not in my spam folder) I have tried several times for weeks with no resolution. I reached out to admin for help but my post is being over looked. My question is .. if I upgrade is their any admin/staff that I can contact directly to help delete the old sites or is this it, forums only? TIA

  There are many support options available, some free and some when you upgrade. See this article for more about those options.

  Regarding your not receiving the confirmation emails, I have tagged this thread so that it can be addressed by a staff member. Please make sure you are subscribed to this thread so that you know when the staff member responds. You can subscribe by clicking the “Subscribe to Topic” link on the right.

  Hi there,

  Sorry for the trouble deleting those sites! It looks like you want to delete these two sites:

  • townsvilleswapit.wordpress.com
  • tradieswap.wordpress.com

  Please keep in mind that deleting a site in permanent and can’t be undone. Neither you nor anyone else will be able to use those site addresses in the future once they are deleted. Can you please confirm you want to permanently delete those two sites? I can then help with that process.

  If you upgrade, you can also use our contact form to get in touch with staff directly, and we’re working to expand other forms of support such as live chat support directly from your site’s dashboard.

  That would be awesome, I am so please you found my post. I am also having trouble receiving emails/notifications. Not sure if you can help with that also but I can’t seem to receive any emails and they aren’t going to my spam folder. I suspect that something went astray when I did an account recovery and changed my email address in the process.

  You’re welcome! Those sites are now permanently deleted.

  Please check your account settings to make sure your email address is correct there. You can update your email there if you need to change it.

  If that email address is correct and you still don’t receive emails from WordPress.com there, please check with your email provider about that. Our records show that your email provider is accepting those emails for delivery, so you’ll need to check with them to find out why they don’t end up in your inbox.
