Help using Feedburner to enable Subscriptions?

    I have created a text widget on my blog http://kathyfreundel.wordpress.com to enable viewers to subscribe to my blog via email. I also set up an account with Feedburner. On my Feedburner account I have made sure that I “activated email subscriptions” in the “publicize” tab of my feed. Then, I pasted the code into the text widget on my blog. When I click on that widget, it does take me to the Feedburner email prompt page, but when I type in an address, the response says “The feed does not have subscriptions by email enabled.”

    What have I done wrong? Any help would be hugely appreciated!
