Help w/ domain

  I have purchased a domain, I also have hosting w/ another site…currently my web address is mydomain.wordpress.com but I want it to just be mydomain.com. The site that does my hosting needs the IP address from the current host, but I am not able to find that information anywhere. Where can I find that?

  Hi there,

  To use your domain with your WordPress.com site you need two things:

  1) A domain mapping upgrade. That is included in all of our plans.

  2) You need to ask your domain registrar to point your domain’s name servers at us. The support doc I linked to explains how to do that.
