Help! Where did my proofread button go?

    Ok, am I going crazy, or is the proofread button gone? I can’t find it in my visual editor! It seems that WP has updated, as I haven’t posted in a couple of weeks, and I don’t see my handy-dandy proofread button. Was it intentionally removed? Please tell me I’m missing something.

    Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the proofreading option is gone from the new editor, at least for now. Here’s what a staff member posted in the editor feedback thread:

    The proofreasding option is no longer maintained and so it was not moved to the new editor interface, but something similar will be added to the new editor in the future.
