Help – Where is the plug in feature?

  I am not seeing where the add plug in feature is – isn’t it supposed to be in the Appearance? Thanks!

  WordPress.COM hosted blogs do not have the ability to add Plug-in’s. Plug-in’s are only available on self hosted WordPress.ORG powered sites.

  Can a wordpress.com blog be transferred to wordpress.org should I decide later on?

  We get lots of people asking for plug-ins. Plugins are just software with functionality: if you tell us the function you want, or the result, we can often present a solution that works here for free. But a generic “I want plugins” doesn’t give us any clues.

  Yes you can transfer between .COM and .ORG – you Export the blog then Import the information into your new blog
