Help with a couple of questions

    Dear All,

    I am working on creating a web portal with certain ideas.

    Some of the questions/challenges I am facing are the following:

    One of the functionalities that my portal would be giving to visitors/customers is for them to be able to publish specific products and sell them on my website. Therefore my portal will function as a marketplace. I am aware that I can use plugins like Dokan or WCMF to achieve that, but the question is the following

    – I would like to be able at a certain point to charge the customers in order for them to be able to publish their product for sale or make the product kind of VIP in order to to be visible on the main page, or something along those lines? The questions then would be how can I achieve that and what plugins/extensions should I use?

    Any guidance would be highly appreciated!

    Maybe a bit more clarification. With the same logic, I would like to give the possibility of customers to move their product that is for sale on top of the particular category by paying a small fee. How this can be also achieved?

    Based on what you’ve described, the Product Vendors WooCommerce extension might be a fit for you.

    Please keep in mind, you’ll need a Business plan or higher to use WooCommerce. If you’re interested in that, you can upgrade by going to Upgrades → Plans.
