Help with an HTML problem please
-
I am trying to put a link from a pic on my site to another URL address, using this code:
I’ve copied this from another pic on the page which also has a link which works. (I’m a complete beginner at this coding so rely on “replicating” actions from other parts of my page). Unfortunately when I try it out, all the pics etc. underneath this on the page are thrown out of alignment, no matter where I put the part in the code….
Any advice greatly appreciated!

I seem to have already posted this wrong!
Here is the code I am trying to paste:
<a href="http://you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/save-the-practice-of-herbal-medicine-in-the-uk">Thanks again!

This is the link http://you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/save-the-practice-of-herbal-medicine-in-the-uk
This is the tile or anchor text:
Save the practice of herbal medicine in the UKThis is the general link model:
<a href="URL HERE">Highlighted anchor text here</a>
This is the visual result but as it’s just an example it’s not actually linked to a page:
Highlighted anchor text here1. Enter the anchor text you want to link to first.
2. Then use your mouse to highlight that anchor text.
3. Next click the chain icon in the Visual editor and proceed to create the link.More here > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2013/05/20/creating-html-hyperlinks-links-in-wordpress/

Too bad you didn’t post the URL up front because you wasted your time here. That’s not a free hosted WordPress.COM blog and we can’t help with it here. You are posting to the wrong support forum. The correct one is here http://wordpress.org/support/

And sorry for confusing the support forums :-( But it did work and you did help and I’m still grateful!

You’re welcome. :) I respectfully ask you not to post to this support forum again to get help with any blog that’s not being free hosted by WordPress.com.
