Help with Blask theme categories
-
Hi everyone,
I’ve just created a website using the Blask theme. However, I’m having issues with my category pages.
As you can see e.g. under the Style category https://andotherdiscoveries.wordpress.com/category/style/
the full text of my Style Feature article is showing, but when I click on the title “Style Feature: Tracing the Danish Stripes” it takes me to a new page that shows the article as I want it.So my question is, how do I remove the article text on the first page that pops up when clicking on the style category – but still keeping the title “Style Feature: Tracing the Danish Stripes” that links to the article?
I hope it makes sense and it is possible for you to help me. Thank you in advance! :)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

hi,
If I understand you correctly, you don’t want the excerpts to be displayed at the Categories page.
On a paid plan, this is possible with CSS customization.
.entry-summary {
display:none;
}If the above is affecting other areas of your blog, let me know where they are and I will try to narrow CSS scope further.
Let us know if you have further questions.

Hi there,

Category pages work exactly the same as the posts page on your site – they show the post title, along with an excerpt of the post content, and a thumbnail image if your theme supports showing that.
It is possible to hide that excerpt using custom CSS, but that is not how the WordPress software is designed to work. If you just want a list of posts titles, then using the Display Posts shortcode will be a better option than using a category page:
If the above is affecting other areas of your blog, let me know where they are and I will try to narrow CSS scope further.
This is not how it works. If you want to provide CSS support, it’s your responsibility to test the CSS code you provide and to make sure it’s specific enough that it doesn’t affect other areas of the theme. If you’re not willing to take the time to do that, please rather leave CSS threads to staff and to volunteers who specialise in CSS support.

@kokkieh, I did check the other areas of the site and noted that andotherdiscoveries.wordpress.com’s intent is to use images as the main drawing point, not the excerpt.
And just to be sure of the owner’s intent, I added my note.By the way, the note before the Submitting is:
