help with blog

I actually had come to this forum in order to find help with a layout problem, but while reading a bit I found out I had a much more important problem.
Like obviously many others, I did not know WP allowed commercial ads on the blogs, as I only read the FAQ’s to the point that said “no ads on WP allowed”. Don’t get me wrong, I do not complain in any way, I fully understand that WP needs to finance this free service somehow, my problem is that there doesn’t seem to be a way for the blog owner to actually SEE which ads are displayed.The main reason why I blog is to cope with a severe chronical illness. I often write posts which are not so easy to take in. I don’t know how Google generates these ads but I understand it’s mainly done through screening the text and then go for single words and find suitable ads to go with it. In my case that could become very unpleasent. I don’t mind ads in general, if I could only see what they display. Basically, if there isn’t a way to do that, I’m afraid I can’t keep my blog here, although I would hate to leave WP, besides, I wouldn’t know where else to go, either.
I don’t know much about CSS so this might be a very silly question, but maybe if I bought the CSS upgrade, would I be able to see the ads then?Any help with this will be highly appreciated!

Considered this subject solved ….. at least for me it is! I finally found a way to see these ads on older posts, I had imagined it to be bad. Not this bad, though!
