Help with changing and creating pages

  I created a set of pages. Later, I went back to add a page and it doesn’t show. I can view it from admin, but it does not appear on the public viewing. Also, I have tried to re-order pages that have a parent. Again, they either don’t show or I cannot move them. Help?

  Hi there. Are you using a custom menu, or the theme’s default? If a custom menu, there is an option that new pages aren’t automatically added to the menu. If you have that setting selected you’ll need to add the pages to the menu manually from the Appearance ->Menus area of the dashboard.

  If you’re using the default menu, make sure that the page is published and that its visibility is set to public.

  Also, I have tried to re-order pages that have a parent.

  I don’t see any child pages on your menu. If you’re not using a custom menu, you may want to consider creating one. Managing child pages and page order is much easier with a custom menu as you can simply drag-and-drop items. See here for more information: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
