Help with comments?

  In akismet I have this: “Akismet has caught 6 spam for you since you first installed it.” But I never even saw what those comments were. Shouldnt I somehow be able to approve of the comments that are spam accordign to akismet before they get deleted? I know about the 30-day rule but I check my blogg everyday so that isn’t the problem. Quite new and still just trying to understand this. :)

  uhm… that takes me to the page where it said “Akismet has caught 6 spam for you since you first installed it.”… I still can’t see which comments it’s caught.

  Akismet boasts the number of spams caught and already deleted. Some people might be confused by this to expect them in the spam queue. It appears those comments are either

  a) caught in limbo before appearing on that page,
  b) deleted for having been in the spam queue for mor than 30 days or
  c) deleted because you cleared the spam queue already

  Check the page regularly and you will be able to double check for false positives in the future.
